Winter Provides
Winter provides a time to rest
To take stock of our lives
To slow down and vallue what we have
To know who we are.
Winter Provides a time to dream
Of times we had long ago
Long days and long nights
Where reflection takes priority.
Winter provides a time to care
The giving season comes alive
Gratitude for family and friends
Faith recognized as a priority.
Winter provides a time to know
That even though it's dreary and cold
A promise of spring is soon to come
We need this respite to gather who we are.
